Welcome back. I have a spooky story for you today, so grab some tea and get cozy.
First, we have to get through a bit of history. Albion Normal School, located in Albion, Idaho, was established in 1893, providing education for people from all walks of life. The school contained k-12 and a college. As you can imagine, the place is gigantic and takes up several hundred acres with multiple buildings. It was a popular school until in closed in 1951, and the buildings were later converted into the Albion mansions. Today it is used for haunted tours and a haunted house- House of Choas, uses the property during October. There have been several deaths on the property. For example, a couple of boys were sleeping in a cabin when the stove began to leak gas in 1949. The boys died, but the autopsy is still marked as unknown. Other than random deaths, many people disappear from this location and are never seen from again. Dunt, dunt, duuuh!

I tried to keep the history short on this one. Anyway, things didn't start to get weird until the 1980s when Satanic Panic was on the rise. Covens would break into the abandoned buildings and perform rituals. The walls are littered with graffiti, a few Satanic in nature. Investigators have noted that these symbols are likely portals to other dimensions. One thing is for sure, the rooms containing specific markings have a lot of activity. Like every haunted location, there is a Ghost Adventure's episode about it, and of course, I watched it. Zak Bagans and his team got feedback from a spirit box next to one of these symbols. Bagans refers to the symbol as a pentagram, but I think it looks like Baphomet. Anyway, Albion Normal School sure seems like a creepy place, and there are certainly enough stories from people who have visited the location.
Employees of the haunted house have said that certain areas feel off and refuse to work in them. They aren't the only ones to be affected by the energies that reside there. A visitor became possessed while attending the haunted house. At one point in the maze, thrillseekers are lead to a set of stairs with a slab of meat hanging at the bottom. This one particular visitor began to tear at the flesh with his teeth, terrifying his friends who state he looked possessed. A nightwatchman, Kay Powell, mentioned in an interview that he has seen the apparition of a dark-haired woman wander around the woman's dormitory. Having worked there for ten years, Powell didn't feel threatened by the spirit. He said that she would appear at the end of a hallway and vanish before his eyes, and he isn't the only one to have seen her. Paranormal investigators have noted seeing a dark-haired woman wearing a white dress in the same area. She seems pretty chill. She could either be stuck in a time loop, or maybe she just wants to be noticed. Powell noted that she would look at him while she disappeared. Perhaps she was trying to communicate, but that was all she could do? There are no wrong answers here, folks. I couldn't find anything else about her- no EVP sessions, spirit boxes, nothing. I found that strange. And no photos of her? Are investigators more focused on the darker spirits who are no doubt more energetic?

I personally want to know her story. With that being said, if I ever, ever, ever get to investigate this place or take a tour, best believe I will be trying to contact this spirit.
Even if I could figure out her name- for some reason, nameless spirits are just the saddest thing to me, especially if they appear intelligent.
Let's move on before I start rambling.
There is a spirit of another female spirit, and her name is Margaret. She apparently also has dark hair but is seen in the auditorium preforming. I don't think this is the same spirit unless she is traveling from building to building. That could be possible; maybe ghosts have a world like ours have we just seen glimpses of it. For example, Margaret is seen in the dormitory going to her room. Perhaps when she is seen performing, it is actually a ghosty-showing. You don't know.
Anyway, knocking can also be heard in the auditorium.
One paranormal investigation team witnessed a full shadow figure step out in front of their flashlight. The team was unable to explain the shadow away, which is creepy as shit.
The doors slam in multiple buildings as well as footsteps, white lights, feeling followed/ watched, and objects moving. From Ghost Adventure's episode, you can see that Albion Normal School still has a lot of school stuff in it like desks, cabinets, and whatnot. Bagans interviews a person who reports that desks in one particular room would rearrange themselves and slam against walls.
Could imagine walking into a spooky room and these heavy old desks from the early 1900s start slamming into walls? That would be jarring.
People have also seen something with glowing red eyes starring back at them. Whatever it is, it is reported to stand about seven feet tall, and people don't seem to think it's an animal.
Why are there always glowing red eyes starring at people from the woods?
Has it happened to me? Am I just that obvious sometimes?
Have any of you ever seen some spooky red glowing eyes? If you have and feel like it's worth a share, please do.
And now, for the last story that I found in this place. Fear not; it is on the lighthearted side? Well, except for that one guy.

Anyway, so there was this guy named Jesse, and from the article I read, it sounded like he worked there. Regardless, Jesse, noting that this place is creepy as fuck, decides he wants to scare his friends. So he crouches down at the top of some stairs and waits for his friends to come up. He's chilling there waiting to scare the shit out of his friends, but apparently the spirit that haunts that area didn't think it was a good prank. Jesse reports getting slammed backward by an unseen force. That ghost was like, 'No asshole, you will not terrify your friends.' Anyway, that is all I have for you today. Don't forget to subscribe so you can stay in the loop. Also, don't forget to check out the Instagram page, I have added a few new pictures of spooky locations from my travels. Until next time -Tye
