I have a short one for you, but it's another one off my bucket list. Like most of us, abandoned locations fascinate me, and the Casa Grande Domes are no exception.
These giant structures, three of them resembling caterpillars and the other, a spaceship, lay abandoned in Casa Grande, Arizona, but not forgotten.

The compound was built in 1983 by InnerConn Technology Inc to manufacture circuit boards. The owner, Patricia Zebb, envisioned these strange structures to occupy the 135 acres, but only four were completed. The formations only took 6 weeks to build and cost $150,000; quick and low cost, yet the company went under. InnerConn defaulted on a loan, and everything went to the bank, leaving only the foundation for several of the buildings. These outlines give the Domes a creepier feel because it looks like the builders just disappeared- the UFO structure and them being in the desert also factor in. Though the location isn't far from the city of Casa Grande, the state they are in makes visitors feel isolated.
The largest of the domes collapsed in 2018 and are said to be demolished for safety reasons, but they still stand today. This dome is the most popular and rumored to be the central dome in which satanic rituals were performed. This dome has access to the tunnels which would have been used for piping and whatnot. That was all I could find out about the tunnels; several sources warned visitors to stay away from them.
Besides their eerie appearance, the domes are a hub for satanic rituals, especially in the 1990s, when satanic panic was on the rise. Individuals would gather to open portals to other dimensions and summon demons, and there is proof of it. Bones have been found in the tunnels along with candles, indicating something was going on. Visitors have reported feeling watched and have even seen shadow people. Are they just paranoid, or is it something else?
This location is known as a body dumping ground. One of the most recent bodies was discovered in 2017 and identified as Cody Virgin, age 25. Virgin had been missing for a few months before his charred body found near the domes. He was completely unrecognizable; his family identified him by a piece of jewelry and his shoes.
His killer, Daniel Randolph, age 26, would be arrested shortly after Virgin's body was discovered. The two had met on Facebook and had made plans to meet near the Domes. I couldn't find out anything else about this case; it appeared pretty open and closed.
Now for the reason why I chose to write about the Casa Grande Domes, a Ghost Adventure's episode. I have to admit, the show is dramatic, to say the least, but for some reason, I love it.
This episode freaked me out. Either they are faking everything, or this is absolutely terrifying.
In this episode, you can find it on Hulu if you are interested, Zak Bagans interviews ex- satanic priest, Jesus Gonzales. Gonzales mentions that the land was cursed. The area was stolen from a Native American tribe; this could explain a lot. During this interview, a figure was seen in the far area of the dome. It groaned at Gonzales and Bagans before disappearing.
Now for the part that terrified me. Some time into the investigation, the camera set up in the large dome starts acting up. There has been a lot of activity up to this point, giving the impression that whatever occupied the domes had a lot of power. Bagans enters the dome and begins to take pictures; after a few normal pictures, a black figure appears. It's eerie; a head, arms, and torse clearly are shown. Whatever is there has a lot of energy to be able to manifest like that.
The majority of people say they have seen shadow people in the domes; perhaps one was finally captured on camera. Could this be the evidence for some demonic presence that lives in these domes?
Though I couldn't find a ton on this location, I still thought it was worth sharing. From what I read, the Domes are still standing, and I hope to be able to see them for myself someday.
If you have any stories of your one or ones' you'd like to share, feel free.
